Denmark isn't listening to all the people!

Posted by Dave (in Ireland)

Instead, Foreign Minister Per Stig Moller says that Denmark is opposed a possible European Union position on whaling - and most EU countries are anti-whaling. Mr Moller claims that his country needs to protect the interests of the self-governed territory of Greenland. Oh oh...

This is typical of governments - they are riddled with people full of self interest. Most see their fellow-contrymen as pawns in their game plan. It is time for the citizens to insist on better - but will they?
