I've been with Greenpeace for five years - before that I worked at Amnesty and International Fund for Animal Welfare. I first got into media when I interviewed Michael Howard for a student magazine about the Criminal Justice Act and he threw me out of his office. I wrote it up and it won me the Guardian Young Journalist of the Year Award. I got a temporary job at the Guardian after that, then went travelling and ended up working for a newspaper in Jerusalem.

I've always, always wanted to work for Greenpeace. Direct action is the most powerful tool we have in the face of the seemingly insurmountable forces ranged against positive change.
