Shanna Foley: Taking a Stand to Save Ancient Forests
Shanna Foley, 19, is a sophomore at Mills College in Oakland, Calfironia, where she
is a straight A student! Public lands are especially important to her, because she
grew up in the Sierra Nevadas, near the Injo National Forest.
Shanna is on a "monopod" on top of the container.

You should be in politics. If you want to whine about the economy being ruined, you should know what you are talking about.

As a new environmental activist myself, I hope I have the guts to do something similar one day. You'll be happy to know that I am a CEO of a small computer firm, so not all us business types are bad. To the guy complaining about his So. Oregon economy, and thus labeled you "crazy", I just say that his ability to watch the cutting go on and on, takes away a little piece of his humanity each time. Keep the faith.
