I want to thank everybody for writing in and showing support and to our detractors for giving us their side of the case.

I'm back at work (yes, I have a job!) in Dallas and I miss Oregon already.

This issue has generated a lot of controversy and I think it's amazing how people against us can forget that we're trying to preserve an ecosystem (old-growth forests) that is almost extinct in this country.

I think people do make a good point about us all using too many wood and paper products. So much of our lumber supply goes to paper and it's important that people recycle and purchase recycled products. It's also important, however, to stop subsidizing corporations and allowing them to log our public lands so that consumers can believe that they have a cheap abundant paper supply available to them that comes with no cost or consequences.

It is time to revolutionize the way people look at the world's forests and how it affects the decisions they make.

Hello Randep: Have you ever seen "baraka" is a video documental, you can get it at Blockbuster o other, try to get it and see it please. I'm writing you from the hot-land of Guerrero at Mexico, you and your team should come visit us here to learn from ancient culture about the concept of trees and nature, so you can cher it to your team. There's some important knowledge here about respect in antique cultures that can be asume in a new order and comprehension. Nature is not only a resourse but a hole concept and devotion. It could be transmited to the new generations.

and please don't forget you are not alone on this traveling.

so long
