Blowing up...the balloons!!! / Bombalar patlayacağına balonlar patlasın!!!

Yesterday, Mahir and me went to distribute balloons to the children on the street and in the elementary school of the village. They were all very happy with the simple present. When they inflated up the balloons, the text "Nucleer bombalar disari" becomes bigger and bigger. In the school, 2 girls were speaking about the text. But as they saw a teacher approaching, they stopped talking. It was and still is a controversial topic. The schoolchildren ran towards us and in just few minutes we had no more balloons to distribute.
Hopefully, the heat won't blow up the balloons too quickly ;-). That might give the young children more time to start thinking about the message.

Mahir ile dün sokaktaki ve köyün ilköğretim okulundaki çocuklara balon dağıtmaya gittik. O anda çok mutlu oldular. Balonlar şişirildiklerinde "Nükleer Bombalar Dışarı" yazısı gittikçe büyüyor. Okuldaki iki kız bu yazıdan söz ediyorlardı. Kendilerine yaklaşan öğretmeni görünce sustular. Bu konu geçmişte olduğu gibi bugün de hala tartışmalı bir konu. Çocuklar bize doğru koşarak geldiler ve birkaç dakika sonra artık dağıtacak balonumuz kalmamıştı. Umarım, balonlar sıcaktan kısa sürede patlamazlar;-) Böylece küçüklerin mesajımız hakkında düşünmek için daha fazla zamanları olur.
