Philip, electrician, New Zealand (Zealandia Baru)
I live with my three children on the beaches during summer and winter.
My favourite thing about being on board is fulfilling a 20-year dream to work for Greenpeace and on the Rainbow Warrior. This came about because the French government bombed the first Rainbow Warrior – but "You cannot sink a rainbow".
I believe that every action for our Earth, no matter how small, is action in the right direction.
The best two moments I’ve had on the Warrior were bringing my children on board for the first time and, during a visit to Hong Kong, explaining our work to local children and listening to them ask really understanding questions.
