As a Pacific Islander I'm so proud to be part of this campaign. Fishing is an integral part of the Pacific cultures and traditions...it's who we are, the ocean is our mother providing us with nourishment, and at present it's a major source of income for most of our communities.

To me, this campaign is about the people. Listening to my fellow Pacific Islanders identify what they are facing with one of our important resources because it's one of the last healthy fisheries in the world. I love eating fish and fishing, which my ancestors have being involved in for over thousands of years. I want to see that it exists forever.
