Letter to a whaling captain

By Helena, on board the Esperanza

One of our youngest supporters, Martina, has a good idea and a great New Year's Resolution for Captain Toyama of the Nisshin Maru - the leader of the Japanese whaling fleet.

She suggests .... "why don't you go back home take out all the harpoons and come back to the sanctuary full of tourists for whale watching"

Hi Helena, ...and all,
...and thanks for this s-o-o-o-o adorable, and s-o-o-o-o well concepted film. The contrast was stunning and perfect. It would just be poetic justice if the film could somehow be seen aboard the Japanese vessels. How about a tight beam laser projection on their foreheads?

It's nice to see some positive action following all the recent wild accusations that have been thrown around regarding the whaling issue.

Martina I commend you, and all of the crew on the Esperanza for what you are doing! =]

Hi Helena!

It's a beautiful video, now we have to send it to the japanise fleet!

Well, I want to return the contact with you. I'm from GP Chile, I live in Temuco and we meet at one year ago.
A lot of kisses to you and all the Greenpeace family on board.
