Picture of the Day: A Nurdle
Next to a small snail (Janthina janthina), this plastic pellet, or nurdle, is easily confused with fish eggs by marine life.

Ha! That is a funny comment.
Nurdles are so disturbing! Curtis Ebbesmeyer recently spoke at the Aquarium of the Pacific, where I work. And he had many stories to tell of plastics in the ocean. Say hi to Charlie Moore from us at the Aquarium. Keep up the great work.
