Eggs Anyone?
by Slade, onboard the Esperanza
Well, I decided it was time for a Video Log (VLOG). So todays weblog is more going to be about the video. In one of my previous blogs, I mentioned that the deck of the Esperanza was so hot you could fry an egg on it. This comment seemed to gain a lot of interest so I decided to see if it actually was possible. Turns out, you can. Thanks to the sun beating down on a big bit of metal we were able to cook an egg. Check out Ocean Defenders TV to see the video of the egg being cooked. Maybe next time we could try a stir fry?

Slade,
Have been reading your weblogs and video logs since you have left Egypt and have enjoyed each one of them and so has my wife your two neices who also watch with great enjoyment. It seems that you are really enjoying this learning experience you are having and very much look foward to seeing more in your future VLOGS and weblogs. Keep up the good work and the family tradition of keeping the salt water running through the veins, we are all proud of what you are doing.
Ryder.

I do love eggs...I suppose I'd prefer them cooked in a more conventional manner...

Do you like green eggs and ham? Do you like them and eat them with Spam? Do you like them on a deck plate? Do you eat them with cod and skate? Would you eat them on the bow? Would you eat them instead of cow? Would you turn them port to starboard when the ship is yawing with sailors from Harvard? (I knew you liked that last one)The question is don't you love them on the deck? It's better than anyplace else, what the heck! Here's to the sea and all of the wonderful people who realize it's the only place to be!

I wonder how the egg felt about the point being made?
Eggs are eggs, fish are fish, life is life ,and to save our oceans and fish should we be wasting eggs?
Keep up the good work , and you are doing good work.
