I have heard about the attack on Lebanon from Israeli forces, at least that is what our media is telling us. My love and thoughts go to you all. Take care and be careful.

Thanks for saying that Slade. You echoed my thoughts.

Hi all...,
...and please let me apologize. I didn't consider Greenpeace had offices, and you may have personal friends in Beruit and Tel Aviv. This is just too absurd and inhuman. I pray for your brothers and sisters there, and for the innnocent people in both Israel and Lebanon. This has to stop before it gets completely out of control.
Consider this statement by Iran a couple of hours ago - "If Israel commits another act of idiocy and aggresses Syria, this will be the same as an aggression against the entire Islamic world and it will receive a stinging response," he said in a telephone conversation with his Syrian counterpart Bashar al-Assad. - http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20060714/wl_mideast_afp/mideastunrestiran_060714142706
This attack on Beruit is just too brutal, and so was the killing of three Israeli soldiers and the abduction of two. But Israel needs to stop this extremely over-reactive and outrageous behavior before the entire Arab nations come at them from all sides. God just stop and think what this could escalate to... I hope you all out there will write some letters and try to apply some reason and common sense to all this. Thanks Espy guys and girls, ...for having the courage, and common sense to care for your friends, who's only purpose is to make this a better world. I stand strong with you, and especially them. Love you guys...

Totally agree, the message has to be a positive one. Only in peace, we can be happy. Only in peace, we can produce and achieve great things. War is not the answer.
Greeting to the crew.

Hello from the Philippines!
To ALL the victims, may you rest in peace.
To ALL OF US, let's continue the work and strive for what we want to achieve.

Thank you Slade and all the others for all the support!
I cannot make sense of all this violent mess. I don't want to see where it is taking us. I only hope they will all wake up and find their common sense soon, perhaps then, they will remember that we are all humans who share the same love for life and its beauties! My family and friends are still in Beirut.. and I cannot but wish for a very quick cease-fire to be enforced as soon as possible. I share your sorrows in Israel too, and YES Mary Ann, I quote you again "let's all continue the work and strive for what we want to achieve"

I'm sending the people in Israel & Lebanon lots of love, prayers, positive & peaceful energy, & healing light from the US! War is stupid, plain & simple. It upsets me that no one really talks anymore or cares enough to meet each other half way.

It's horrible how the politicians react in a situation like this. Hope it will end soon, although I don't see enough people in Israel really against this war actions of their government.
Sending love from Coimbra - Portugal

The achievement of war is always meaningless in the light of all the loss of the very life for whose enhancement the war is initiated in the first place. I have never quite been able to understand how so much irony in the scenario comes to be missed every time war is supported, wherever it is. I would like to emphasize that Life is very, very precious and Love is the single worthy sentiment that can make existence meaningful. If the cause is worthy enough and fully justified, it would definitely find supporters and their collective and strong support would resonate to move the hardest impediments and justice would come to prevail. Thus, the perpetrators of war are implicitly culprits, guilty of misrepresenting a cause that is not at all aligned to the tenets human welfare and deliberately misguiding the masses towards embracing the same.

Someday, you will have peace. Someday you will be alright. Remember, guns and bravery aren't what make us strong. It's okay to feel weak, and to be afraid, but the most important thing is that you try to rise above your fear and sadness.
That is what makes us strong. I love you, it will be alright. Maybe not today, or tomorrow, or in a year or ten years, but if you keep trying and holding on, your day of peace will come. I know it.

'Violence begets violence'. Let all activity be ceased NOW and action prevail..
->Action and activity are different. Their natures are diametrically opposite. Action is , you respond.
Activity -- restless state within blurting up even when the situation does not matter.
Action has been mistaken truly in this yet another incidence of War/Terror. It is surely not the way to respond. Both sides should cease at once and arrest both their activities.
Hope and Pray all of us become wise and remain wise to overcome those who try to create instability -- both physically and mentally.
Anti-social elements need to be curbed at any cost. They can be spotted. They sweet-talk but are weak and try to act as if they are strong. They try to imbibe terror-thoughts in us by way of ill-talk about others to us. As a rule of thumb one should never allow any one to comment (whether nice comment or bad comment) about others to us. This is the starting point of all mess and complexity in our lives. Why even nice comment? Because it will appear to be Nice at that moment but difficult to approve whether it is really a nice positive good comment...
For example, if someone says nice about Leba..it indirectly could mean something bad about Isr..
Bliss shower upon us.

The conflict between Lebanon and Israel now saddens a lot worldwide. War means damages, casualties, victims, and death yet on whose point of view it would mean victory and advance. Humanity has still a long way to learn from history and experience. But then we know, Everything shall come to pass in due time. Let's us hope and work that PEACE, understanding, giving and forgiving will prevail sooner than later. Take care all of you!
Greetings of PEACE from the Philippines!

This war is crazy, as is any war....
Let's continue to try to get people from different nations, backgrounds, races, cultures and religions to meet one an other.... Find common ground (there's heaps!)... Push our political leaders HARD to talk directly to one an other.... Israel to Hisbollah, USA to Syria & Iran, N.Korea to S.Korea, Japan & USA, Russians to Chechen, the list goes on...
Time for new approaches before the chaos, pain & suffering becomes even worse. Peace is what we all really want and the world deserves.
Wishing you all well/goodwill
lOVE & PEACE

Hello....
I live in Beirut, and just while am sending this, I can clearly hear the bombing of the southern suburb of Beirut. It's loud and scary, but I kinda got used to it as it has been almost a month now. I, you, and they should never get used to war. We refuse war and not only say NO to it, but act upon that concept. The cease fire agreement (getting active tomorrow morning!!!) is the most rediculous thing I have ever heard about throughout my whole life! Cease fire should be nothing but immediate! It is like you just spend the night knowing deep inside that a lot is to be bombed until the cease fire gets active!
PEACE upon you mother Earth....I wish (and work for) nothing but a peaceful world for all human beings to enjoy :)
