New communications technology
by Elaine, onboard theEsperanza
We have a new visitor onboard - he/she seems perfectly comfortable in the bridge and demanded water on arrival. Check the out the "pigeon cam" now...
PIGEON UPDATE: Alas - the pigeon has flown the coop - fed, watered and rested. He/she was apparently Maltese (there are people on this ship who know about pigeons...) and well, we hope Chief/Polly makes it back home ok. We hope you enjoyed the "pigeon cam" while it lasted!

Beware of that pigeon...he/she may be a pirate in disguise.
After demanding for water, pretty soon that bird will want the captains cabin and chair...

Poor ol' "pigeon cam" - sometime our link has hiccups but we're up and running again now... and Pigeon (Budget Parrot) is still sitting watching!

Great idea with the webcam! How on earth did you find a pigeon out in the meditteranean?

Is your new advisor a lost racing pigeon? Give him or her some food, bread or rice will do I think!

well, the pigeon was indeed a racing pigeon, from Malta... he had a tag on his leg saying: "malta 2001"
PEACE
