Slideshow: Atlantic Wildlife, West Africa
by Dave, onboard the Esperanza
It seems like years since we departed Cape Town and starting sailing north. Now, as we trail the Binar4 towards Las Palmas, it's probably time to do a little gallery of some of the wildlife we've seen along the way. I've done our best to identify all of the animals correctly - but please tell me if I'm wrong!1. Turtle, seen from the bow of the Esperanza, at Ascension Island
2. Sei Whale, off the coast of Western Sahara
3. (Masked?) Booby, near Ascension Island
4. Sperm whales, near Ascension Island
5. Butterfly on the deck of the Esperanza
6. Dolphin, alongside the Esperanza
7. Two dolphins!
8. Royal Terns, off Senegal
9. Fish breaking the surface. Tuna?
10. Brown Booby, off Guinea
11. Terns, seen from the helicopter
12. Spinner dolphin
13. Spinner dolphins
13. Pilot whales

Some nice shots there! Would be nice to have wallpaper versions of some of them. Maybe the "Brown booby", "Tuni" and the "Terns" (helicopter view), please... :-)
