Timo - Deckhand and activist

© Greenpeace/Gleizes
Hamburg, Germany
For the last 8 years I've been an activist for Greenpeace, and for the last two , after I finished my studies (social-work), I've worked for Greenpeace Germany. I think it's terrible that rich, developed nations rob fish from the sea of developing countries. They don"t only steal the fish, this robbery means robbing money from these countries, as well as additional damage to the environment wasting thousands of lives in bycatch... I can't accept this "game" and I'm here on the Esperanza to be active against this robbery by pirates...
