Lazy Sunday & Face Masks
by Nadia, onboard the Esperanza
Finally at sea - after so long at the port, as I'm used to saying, the ship is made to sail. Is very nice to be in the middle of the ocean enjoying the blue sky and the fresh salty breeze. It's really quiet here not many ships, birds, dolphins or any other life. It was the same on board today. I'm pretty sure if you ask any of the Espy crew which day they enjoy the most the answer will be SUNDAY! After having been working really hard for the past few weeks they finally get a day off at sea. Unfortunately this is not applicable for the mates, but is not a reason to be jealous. I'm the one who have the better view when I'm working... hahahWell, I did have to work my 8 hours like always but a nice "after watch" was waiting for me. Marta and I had been planning our first lazy Sunday at sea since many days before we left Cape Town. The schedule was: sauna (but it's 36 Celcius outside!... no problem) shower, face mask and pedicure! I never thought before I could do such a thing on a ship, and I been laughing thinking about my macho teacher learning about what i was doing today. It was a good opportunity to spend some time with a nice friend, forget about everything, and just enjoy the life and relax. Soon we will arrive in "THE spot" and we'll all be busy. So let enjoy those sweet moments now!

Nadia, tomorrow is Sunday again. Shall we go to a Swimming Therapy Center or to a Manicure one?
