Rianne Teule is a campaigner working at Greenpeace Netherlands on Nuclear Energy and Disarmament. She is a physical chemist, and followed an in depth course on nuclear radiation at the Technical University in Delft. As radiation safety officer, she previously joined Greenpeace teams investigating radioactive pollution in Tuwaitha (Iraq), La Hague (France) and Tomsk (Russia). Rianne is the acting on ground team leader for mission: Chernobyl. |

William has worked on nuclear weapons related issues for more than 20 years, mostly for Greenpeace all over the world. For more than ten years he has been involved in a number of nuclear sampling and assessment operations the last being a trip to the Iraqi nuclear facility at Tuwaitha to assess the extent of nuclear contamination there and its possible impact on the local community. |
| I joined Greenpeace as a scientist of Kiev Research Laboratory, Kiev, Ukraine almost 15 years ego. I worked on a project investigating contamination of the territories of the Ukraine by radio nuclides as a result of the Chernobyl accident. This work brought me to my current position as a senior scientist of Greenpeace Research Laboratories in Exeter, UK. The tragedy of Chernobyl concerns me closely both as a scientist and a Ukrainian. |
| I am an International Action Logistics Coordinator for Greenpeace. What that means basically, I coordinate the actions and logistics in cooperation with the project manager and campaigners both on the ground or at sea. I have been an IALC since 2003 but I have been a Greenpeace volunteer since 1993. I used to work for Greenpeace Germany as a campaigner. I am an Engineer and a biologist by profession. |
|
I have been with Greenpeace for the past two years, which makes me the youngest in both age, and Greenpeace years in the team! My background is in Management and Communications. On this trip, I will be bringing you the Blog and responsible for the communications for the project. |

I am married to Claudia who's also an action coordinator - I love action coordination - and we share the job and taking care of our two children. I studied nuclear physics and worked 13 years for Siemens, developing medical x-ray generators before joining Greenpeace. So radiation is my specialty. |
