You don't need a weatherman to know which way the ice floes

BBC reports that while the extent of the ice in the Arctic this year is about the same as last year, the downard trend in old ice continues. But the polar bear is not endangered?

The naysayers will find it more difficult to change their opinions once the ice melts and uncovers previously-inaccessible natural resource deposits...

Is Global warming a diversion while you ignore pollution?
GreenPeace, too lazy to produce a list of green cars you can buy today?
Where are those green vehicles as promised in the headline?

Kent - I think TG just proved you wrong. Seems the naysayers are going to keep naysaying regardless. :D
TG - Personally, I think the only green car is a bicycle, but not all my colleagues at Greenpeace agree.
The right question to ask is, "where are the green cars?" Car companies talk a lot about them, but they're still selling the guzzlers.
Have a gander at our car section an tell us what you really think...

Green energy is definitely the best solution in most cases. Technology like solar energy, wind power, fuel cells, zaps electric vehicles, EV hybrids, etc have come so far recently. Green energy even costs way less than oil and gas in many cases.
