Planet Ocean - the book
Got some good news. I heard from Toby, our publications guy, that the first print run of our Planet Ocean book has sold out. The book grew out of the Defending Our Oceans expedition, and tells the story of the oceans through amazing photos. Great that it's been a hit.
Better news - there will be a second printing. I've already bought my copy (of course), but if you haven't there is a second chance. To get the book that is. When it comes to saving the oceans, we only get one go.

You know it's neat you print a book, utilizing wood and wood fibers, from trees, to save the ocean's and I see a Greenpeace logo branded all over the book but I failed to see a FSC logo so which forests where cut down to print this $10.95 Wal-Mart special or where the replaced trees, assumming it came from a sustaned forest GM trees ? ( some thing else FSC doesn't approve ) Even Wal-Mart uses FSC approved paper and wood in there stores .... Maybe the second printing could include this and I might actually buy it "once it's worth the paper it's printed on." F.S.C. is important and respected

Well, the copy I have in front of me has information on the back cover relating to FSC. The book's made from a "product group from well-managed forests and other controlled sources". So, I guess that should alleviate your fears. Go out and grab a copy, I can assure you it's very much worth the paper it's printed on, and will figure significantly in my Christmas present list for family and friends this year!
