Was the reason they put quotas on it in the first place not to comprimise between fishers and environmentalists. Newsflash: Species Die, they go extinct, it's called evolution, i agree it's not a good thing, but in life this is going to happen. Modern Man is the one evolutionary betrayer, we don't follow suit, but as you should well know..You Just can't beat nature, and despite your vehemence to protect it, maybe by protect some species you are stopping the evolution of others. Think a little more outside the box. Also how cna you hold a funeral for the LAST cod, if it's an impending death?
