Interview with the GE Crop Circle Makers

Mexico — Some pals of mine from the fortean world have been making crop circles for our GE campaign. In this interview, John Lundberg - who is a professional cropcircle maker - (who knew there was such a thing?) talks about making giant question mark in a maize field in Mexico and working with us.

"For years I'd thought that crop circles would be an ideal medium for promoting Greenpeace's genetic engineering (GE) campaign. The crop circles generate an alien mystique, encouraging people to consider the unknown."

This is vandalism, plain and simple, how would you feel if someone came and stomped the words "self centered bigot" in your organic garden because organic farming is not a method that can feed the whole planet.

The truth is that without the "evil" pesticides and "Frankenstein" food 2.2 billion people are going to have to go without ANY food. If you want that then please make it clear that you consider that an acceptable loss when you destroy the work of these humanitarians.

Mr Harvey - making crop circles actually does minimal damage to the crops - it's perfectly harvestable afterwards.

As for these "humanitarians" - GE food is about big business, and providing food for the poor of the world is merely a marketing ploy.

Mr Harvey - do you really think that pesticides help all the people who are staving? What about removing meat and animal products from your diet, this goes even further for helping these people because the limited food they grow won't be going into millions of animals that are breed for our use which is a waste. Not to mention preventing even worse crimes of vadalism on the lives of innocent beings, been carried out in your name.
