Andrew
Ahoy!
I'm Andrew, from Washington, DC (and surrounding areas). I've been working for Greenpeace for years in the mistaken belief that there would be free pizza. Sadly no, or at least not yet, but I have been lucky enough to see and do some amazing and really important things.
For the now, I am on contract in Amsterdam as part of the Defending Our Oceans expedition. Join me, and thousands of others, as part of team Ocean Defenders.

i recently read a magazine & my attention was caught by a column on oceans.greenpeace.org...i've already seen the world underwater & was really amazed by the creatures & creations there so in a little way i want to help to preserve the life underwater so future divers could still appreciate God's creations...i already sign up to be an online activist hoping that i could also have a free pizza...God speed & More Power...

There's a few ways you can get involved. Easy one is to sign up to the ezine. We'll send you emails with quick ways to help.
Since you're lucky enough to be someplace with a Greenpeace office, you can also join their volunteer network. See the
Greenpeace Belgium website for info.
At the moment, I'm working on climate change, mainly the 7steps project. That's another way to get involved.
And if you want more more more ideas, you can find some on our take action page.
Thanks for the comment!

Hi, Im currently doing my dissertation on the impact of global warming in Kiribati. Coral bleaching and marine species is among my main interest. Do you know any specific study regarding the impact of global warming on coral bleaching and marine ecosystem in the Pacific and Kiribati in particular? Do you think global warming will have negative impact on the marine life? Looking forward to hear from you. Wishing you all the best in the good work your doing.
