Doing Something About It

I came to the Forest Rescue Station after the Earth First! Rendezvous last weekend to lend a hand. After school let out for the summer I decided to dedicate a month toward this cause since the practice of public forest destruction is so prevalent
and monstrous.

The public is not even addressed before our lands are sold and destroyed,
and there is no regard for the other life forms that require these ecosystems to live. I think the public should be more aware of this abuse and exploitation of their land, and that decision makers should realize that we should respect those with whom we share this planet.

This is why I came to support Greenpeace this summer.

Good for you Eric! I'm back here on the East Coast, tied up with the rat race. (The thing is, no matter who wins the race, you're still a rat.) I'm with you in spirit and I applaud you. I hope it was an springboard for you and others.
Regards,
Emkey

Hi
We recently let 30 or so penguins back into the wild, i missed the mission because of lack of advertising initiative but from the photos they looked lank pleased with the wide open ocean grinning back at them!!
Im a criminology student in a coastal town in South Africa wondering who to hook-up with to help(hands-on) on a local level, would love to get a newsletter. Is there a poetry/song e-pal set up?
I plan to go into environmental law to protect earth from a legislative pedestal, wish me luck.[I write my exams in oct04]
