Stop Icelandic Whaling: Esperanza Expedition 2004

Slideshow

Posted by Irene at 3:26 PM, July 5, 2004

I’ve put together a slideshow with some pictures from the tour. It already feels like such a long time ago when we first arrived in Isafjördur.

This is probably my final update in this blog, the MV Esperanza left Iceland yesterday. I will remember all the faces, the good people we met and the magic sceneries.

One day, when whaling has come to an end, I will come back. Please continue to give your support, and remember to take the pledge if you haven’t done so yet.

Yeah, yeah. Whaling's not great, but as usual Greanpeace activists have their priorities upside down... The problems of human beings are more important than those of any other creature on the planet. Sort out the human world, and the rest will follow. Instead of standing in the way of technology and progress, contribute to it and the need or motivation for plundering the natural world will disappear.

Animals and people are exacly the same.Humans have no right to do this crulty to animals.

People may have rights but animals have them too.
