Unfortunately these two activists received the same treatment as our other protestors and were ejected from the cocktail party after a few minutes, only to be arrested by the police. Yet again rather than enter into dialogue with Greenpeace regarding the wishes of European consumers, the delegates preferred to hand us over to the authorities. All 35 of our activists were released in the early hours of the morning, two of them had to be taken to the emergency room after being rough-up during the arrest earlier on in the evening, but were fine.
