Stop pulping the Sámi reindeer forests!

The Sámi reindeer forests of northern Lapland are being pulped by the Finnish State controlled paper giant, StoraEnso. These areas of forest provide vital food resources for free-grazing reindeer during the Arctic winter months.

StoraEnso can stop this destruction by not buying logs from these areas.

Government continues logging in Sámi reindeer forests
Send a letter to Mr Erkki Tuomioja, Finland's Minister of Foreign Affairs, urging the Finnish government to live up to its national and international responsibilities and protect the rights of the Sámi to practise traditional reindeer herding in Lapland.
