Metsähallitus terminates negotiations and moratorium in Upper Lapland
Last week Metsähallitus – the Finnish state-owned logging company – terminated formal negotiations with the Sámi reindeer herding co-operatives. The moratorium on logging in the mapped areas has also been terminated by Metsähallitus.
