Soft Snow

We don't have so much snow anymore - it doesn't reach up to the reindeers' stomachs. It's snowing a little bit - snow mixed with raindrops, but the skis still glide rather well on the snow, on some days at least.

The snow is not so wet that the skis just go right through without any snow sticking to the skis. It's warm so the snow on the ground does become wet but the bottom is still somewhat dry. I wonder when so much snow will have melted that we can sit on a spot of bare ground, make coffee and sit round the fire drinking it?
