What are you doing so far north?
I am writing a weblog to keep German-speaking people informed on how we are rescuing the Finnish Ancient forest.

Have you been in the forest before?
I haven't really been out in the forests like these before this, all my experience of forests - was from "Blair Witch Project". But fortunately I found out that the Finnish woods are bright and peaceful.

What animals have you seen here?
I'd love to meet an elk. So far, I have only met loads of reindeers, but today we saw a capercaillie.

Most important survival item
Might sound cool to say "my Leatherman". But what I really couldn't do without is Vivani peppermint chocolate!

Too cold? Bit cold, warm? Too warm?
I expected it to be way colder here than it is right now - but the weather forecast predicts more snow.
