Meet Marielle: Activist From The Netherlands

Name: Marielle
From: The Netherlands
Job: Technician in a laboratorium
What are you doing so far north?
Helping the Sámi people to protect their forest for reindeer herding and hoping that with this the last old forest of Europe can be saved.
Have you been out in the woods before? What happened?
Not in these woods, but I will be back in the summer!
What animal do you most resemble?
I would like to be a bear for one day! But also a wolf, or a little bird. Or a reindeer!
What's the most important survival item?
(e.g. chocolate/ipod/tea etc.)
My sleeping bag. And I must admit, the phone...
Arctic Finland: Too cold, a bit cold, warm, or too damned warm?
Can't really choose: Try and get some work done outside at -10 degrees celcius and then try to go inside a container where a stove is heating the air up to +30 degrees celcius. Not possible...
