Marco - Videographer

Nationality: Italian
Position: Videographer
What is it that you do on a ship that you don't do on land?
ItÂ’s the same. I work on boats all the time, I collect fishnets in the Red Sea where I work. The dimensions are just different. I make videos underwater; itÂ’s the same life.
What's the one thing you wish you had with you from home? Or what do you miss most right now?
I miss Kebab and Assab (sugar canes) that I used to eat in Egypt, otherwise, I have Nutella and great girls onboard, IÂ’m perfectly happy.
Do you know what's the date today?
I forget my birthday sometime. I usually know what I must do and where I must go, so dates donÂ’t matter.
How often do you look at the time?
I donÂ’t wear a watch, but I know the time to relax and the time to work.
One word or phrase you use a lot on the ship.
“I realize…”
How long have you been sailing with Greenpeace? When, what and how was the first time?
First time
