Hibsy is what they call me, and gipsy is my middle name. Having been a Greenpeace activist for the past 7 years, as well as being a designer and an animator, I was asked to volunteer as the Webby onboard of the Rainbow Warrior during the Defending Our Mediterranean campaign tour, this summer. I wanted nothing more than to put all my skills in good use, for a cause that I believe in.
My experience on this emotionally historic ship is exceptional! Our dynamic crew on the Rainbow Warrior has one common denominator, and that is we love our sea, our oceans, and have directed all our efforts in one direction: ‘Save and defend our Med’s habitat and water, so that it remains the home of our wondrous marine life’. This shared motive makes us a special family sailing together at sea!
