Pizza Day
비 내리는 일요일 아침입니다. 현재 고래 탐사를 위해 남해를 표류하고 있는 레인보우 워리어 호에서 수 많은 멸치잡이 배를 볼 수 있습니 다. 남해는 멸치가 많이 이동하는 황금 어장입니다. Dave와 윤미숙 씨의 이야 기를 듣고 나서 멸치를 잡기 위해 설치한 그물들이 고래를 위험하게 만든다는 것을 깨달았습니다. 이러한 우려가 현실에 그대로 나타나 가끔씩 밍크 고래가 멸치잡이 그물에 잡히기도 한다고 합니다. 고래가 그물에 걸려들었을 때 그 고래가 다시 살 수 있도록 놓아줄 어부가 몇이나 될까요.
It is rainy Sunday morning. Rainbow Warrior is floating on the southern sea of Korea and I can see many ships catching anchovies. The southern sea teems with anchovies. I realize that this condition makes whales dangerous after talking with Dave and Mi-sook. Sometimes minke whales are caught in the nets to catch anchovies as might be expected. How many fishermen will let the whales go away from the net?
화제를 바꿔서, 오늘은 피자 데이입니다. 어제 닐이 말한 대로 닐이 피자를 열심히 만들었습니다. 6판 정도 구운 것 같은데요, 다들 아주 맛 있게 먹었습니다. 닐이 만든 마늘 빵도 맛있었고요. 후식으로는 아이스크림도 먹었습니다. 오늘 날씨는 비가 와서 조금 우울했지만 일요일, 피자 데이라서 모두들 즐겁게 보낸 것 같아 기쁩니다.
Changing the subject today is the pizza day. Neil made pizzas as he told me yesterday. I think he made about 6 pizzas. Everyone enjoyed it. His garlic bread was good too. We had some ice cream as dessert. Rum and raisin ice cream was great. Today was a little bit gloomy for rain but I am happy to see everybody spending great time for the pizza day.
