Come Back Whales

오전 동안에는 잠잠하고 춥기만 하던 바다가 오후에는 매우 아 름다운 돌고래들의 연회장으로 변했습니다. 오후 4시쯤 되자 돌고래들이 엄청 나게 몰려와 레인보우 워리어 호 주변에서 헤엄치기 시작했습니다. 오늘 발 견한 돌고래는 ‘긴 부리 참 돌고래(Long-beaked Common Dolphin)’인데요, 크 지는 않았지만 매우 예뻤습니다. 돌고래들이 점프를 하면서 일으키는 물보라 에서 아름다운 무지개가 생기는 것을 보느라 추운 바닷바람을 맞으며 1시간 가량 계속 서 있었습니다. 태어나서 이렇게 많은 돌고래를 직접 보는 것은 처 음이라 정말 믿을 수 없을 정도로 기분이 좋았습니다. 아주 작은 새끼 돌고래 도 있었고 짝을 지어 점프하는 모습을 보며 눈을 뗄 수가 없었습니다. 수평선 너머에서 계속해서 헤엄쳐 오던 돌고래들을 아직까지도 잊을 수가 없네요. 아름다운

In the morning, it was just too cold and windy. But the sea in front of my eyes was changed into the wonderful feast with a plenty of dolphins in the afternoon. It was around 4 pm and many dolphins swam towards the Rainbow Warrior so I could see them right in front of my eyes. Mr. Mun told me that they are ‘Long-beaked Common Dolphins’ (he brought his book to tell me about them. How kind he is!). They are not big but so pretty. I just stood there to watch them for an hour even though it was very cold. I could see the beautiful rainbow after the dolphins jumping and spraying. I was so happy to see them for the first time in my life. It was incredibly wonderful and amazing. Some of them were little baby dolphins and I couldn’t take my eyes off when they jumped up altogether. I can never forget when they swam from the horizon to the Rainbow Warrior. His photos were very great so it was hard to pick just some of them. And it is hard to show you how beautiful it was with these pictures but I'd like to show you them. And I am thanking to Greenpeace that made me experience like this wonderful one and I hope that our whale survey can be successful.
