Tell Obama to book that train from Oslo to Copenhagen
When Obama flies to Norway to pick up the Nobel Peace Prize, he should go straight from Oslo to Copenhagen, and attend the Climate Summit, happening at the same time as the award ceremony on December 10th. He can even take a train.
To truly deliver a prize-winning presidential performance, he really needs to stop the greatest threat to peace in the world today, and that's the threat of runaway climate change. If allowed to go unchecked, climate change will wreck havoc on our societies, spurring mass migration, mass starvation and mass extinction. It will spark conflicts world wide.
Pick up the phone. Give the Whitehouse a call: (+1) 202-456-1111 Tell Obama congratulations, but challenge him to go to Copenhagen.

Even better, let him take the train. Easy travel, with just one stop in Goteborg.

Congratulations President Obama. This is your chance to pass to history as Jack Kennedy. Please, give your position about the World weather. Here in Peru it is very evident the need to do something. The ex-permanent snow in some mountains, is not there anymore.

With all due respect, Mr. Obama should fly to Copenhagen, skip Oslo, and ask Mr. Al Gore to pick up the Nobel Prize for him. Mr. Gore would be a natural choice to represent the President at Oslo.

Everyone knows it's the right thing to do. If you think you deserve that peace prize, you definitely deserve to devote time to this worldwide summit of importance. At least listen. The climate is more important than Washington's precious AfPak war.

With so many wars fought over energy, it is clear to see that the fight for a sane international energy policy is also a fight for world peace. Show the world you are worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize and go to copenhagen.

And the most trendy president, owning a Nobel Prize, should flight with us! Through a company airline! Not with a very polluting private jet!!! Come on! Show your dedication to change! Yes You Can!

Dear M. President,
Congratulations for your Nobel Price. It is a real encouragement for your action in the world!
Today, one of the biggest challenge is to tackle with climate change. I am European and proud that de European Union is ready to adopt a very ambitious target for reduction of greenhouse gases in Copenhague.
I hope that United States will do the same. I hope that China and India will commit themselves as well in this challenge.
I rely on you to lead your country towards this target and to persuade China and India to do the same.
Yours faithfully.

Dear President Obama,
I was one of your most ardent supporters, precisely because I believed that you would show leadership in addressing climate change. Please go to Copenhagen and prove to me that my vote was for the right candidate.
Good Luck!
