Renewables on track

Investment in renewable energy has doubled every second year for the past decade and in 2008 stood at 120 billion US$. That's one of the findings from the Renewable Energy and Policy Network's Global Status Report. Since every dollar invested in renewables is a dollar that's fighting climate change, that's good news.

The fastest growing segment? Not wind, but Solar, with the market for solar photovoltaics growing by 70% in the last year.
