No he didn't

Yesterday, we told you about the “Yes you Must” campaign that French activists launched to a encourage President Sarkozy to take leadership on climate action. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like President Sarkozy got the message. Last night, he failed to step up for a clean energy future as he backed Italy and stalled negotiations on a law that would boost renewable energy across Europe. Italy and France have stalled progress on what seemed to be a done deal by demanding a review of some of the core principles on of the law in 2014.

This review could rob Europe of a clean energy future. The review would create uncertainty for investors and threaten the creation of millions of green jobs across Europe. The majority of member states and the European Parliament have rejected the call for a review, but still Mr. Sarkozy is defending the Italian position.
