Seriously you guys are legends!!!
I am a active environmentalist, live in Cornwall (England), and ran for elections as youth MP for Cornwall, so I could really get the young persons voice heard, and show the government, just how much we respect and want to protect our environment. I also joined peace child to teach younger children about sustainable development and why its so important. I think in our group we have covered over 400 students in primary education.
I live on a unique and picturesque stretch of coastline, which has recently seen the sinking of the ex naval boat the Scylla ( http://www.national-aquarium.co.uk/Scylla/index.asp ) as a reef hosts a substation amount of marine life, which is being destroyed by the dumping of thousands and thousands of tons of waste, from the close by dockyard. It is totally destroying the areas wildlife, beauty and economy, and as such, a large group of opposition has been forced. As young people in the area we are going out in our boats as it is really not that far from shore (swim-able), and will be actively and peacefully protesting against it, as it seems to be there daily!!!.
Any way the point of this is you are great role models, we all really look up to you, and I am aiming to work on the M.V Esperanza, and I really would like to thank you for being so cool, from all of us.
