Marking it for what it is

by Marcin onboard the Arctic Sunrise

Hi, this is Marcin again from the Arctic Sunrise - still blocking the Probo Koala death ship at the port of Paldiski in Estonia. Ivona asked me to write about my adventures and feelings about today.

As for the adventures it was pretty satisfying to paint a huge message on this ship. We marked it clearly (yellow letters on the blue board, about 3.5 meters high so each and every jellyfish in the ocean can see that this ship is a bad one). In English, "E.U. Toxic Crime Scene", and French (an official language of the Ivory Coast), "L'Europe intoxiques L'Afrique".

It is really hard work to paint such a big ship, so we found it quite pleasant that the crew decided to offer us some refreshing shower from their fire hoses.

So, that's it as for the adventures. If you ask about feelings, I tell you that I am surprised. Surprised, that after 2000 years of civilization there are still people who do not care about anything but money. They do not give a damn that people die, that our ecosystem is collapsing. They only look to profit more, so they can buy another fancy car or whatever. And they dare to call themselves homo sapiens!

It is far beyond my level of understanding. But I know one thing. These particular Probo Koala guys will not escape. We got them and will pin them down so at least their toxic trade will not kill anybody, anymore.

This update is back dated. Marcin wrote it yesterday, but I didn't get it up until today.
