1. All time favorite book

"Hitchhikers Guide through the Galaxy"

2. Music that makes you jive.

I am quite fond of electronic music, so I enjoy drum-and-base, jungle, etc. I would say that my favorite CD at the moment is “Hextatic”.

3. What are the words you live by?

Mahatma Ghandi once said, "Eye for an eye makes the world go blind".

4. If you could live your “perfect life”, where would you be, and what would you be doing?

My “perfect life” would defenitely take place on some planet, where it is warm, with lots of flowers. What would I be doing? Dancing, I would definitely be dancing! If I could do it all over again I wish I was a professional dancer, a salsa dancer preferably.

5. So far, which part of this Baltic Cod campaign has been most memorable?

The most memorable moment so far, was definitely the “Open ship” in Gdynia. This event marked the kick-off of our oceans campaign in Poland, and it was very special for me to be there and see so much local interest!

I was very happy to see a lot of Polish media taking interest in Greenpeace issues, and I was thrilled to see so many people taking time to learn about Arctic Sunrise and about what Greenpeace is all about. Polish volunteers and the Arcitc Sunrise crew offered tremendous help, and I was quite touched by conversations I had with people who had some sort of a connection with the ocean and the sea, like the fisherman.

6. What was your worst fear coming on-board the Arctic Sunrise to join this campaign?

My worst fear was definitely seasickness! I was afraid, and still am, that I will not be able to function properly while feeling seasick.

7. Describe you personality in three words.

How about two words? Conflict- neautralizer

8. What is your most memorable Greenpeace moment?

The first thing that came to my mind is a GMO action we conducted in front of our Polish Prime MinisterÂ’s office in Warsaw, Poland. I, along with other activists, climbed the PMÂ’s office building, but eventually got taken down by the Police. We were all taken to the Police station shortly thereafter. This action was very important because one of the results, perhaps indirect results, was that cultivation of GMO plants was banned in Poland.
