ESPERANZA CREW:

For how long have you been in Greenpeace and why are you here?
Have been with Greenpeace for 4 years now.

It feels good to be back in Lofoten and continue the campaign I took part in 2 years ago. I was born near the Baltic Sea. If the oilcompanies and crappy tankers are left to do what they want to do we'll manage to turn this place into a pile of toxic mud too, just as we did with the Baltic! It's bigger so it takes a bit longer, but if we don't put our foot down now it will happen.

What is your job on board the ship?
I post updates on the Norwegian and English weblogs (and check out Marc, to see what sort of people I have to deal with out here...).

On the perfect day off, what do you do?

Haven't had one in such a long time I can't remember! I would manage to cook a delicious dinner and invite all my friends and family.

And I also want to say:
This summer I'll be an aunt! I want to be able to tell my niece or nephew that I have done everything I can so that he/she can come here some day, and experience the beauty the way we did.

And yes: I need a haircut.
