I have been Capt on GP ships since the 1st voyage of the Rainbow Warrior in 1978, and I have also worked on commercial ships. I have been involved with most GP issues / campaigns over the years in all parts of the world's oceans.

This campaign is of vital importance to the ecosystems of the area, and for the people of the coastal communities of Norway. The oil companies / big business come into an area and promise evrery thing - experience shows this to be untrue. They take what they want, they usually wreck the place and then they leave. I hope we can stop that here. An incident like Exxon Valdez in this area would be a disaster.
