I am back in Stockholm again, where I just poured coffee in my keyboard. Will keep posting updates sent from the ship.

I left the Greenpeace office in Stockholm where I usually work with our Nordic websites to update this weblog from the Esperanza.

Working with the web on a ship is a bit particular, since you most of the times have no internet connection. Sometimes you are not really sure what your posts will look like, you just email them and hope for the best.

This is my third trip to northern Norway and the Barents Sea, one of the most beautiful places I know. Some day I hope to come back as a tourist, when there is no reason for Greenpeace to come here anymore, when the oil tankers are not licking the coast, when the Norwegian government has come to their senses and closed to area for oil extraction and the bottom trawlers have been banned.

Until then we’ll just have to keep on campaigning, and with your support we’ll get there.
