Hanging out in Southern Oregon (USA) at the Forest Rescue Station has been an excellent experience. Today, a stand was taken to actively protect these awe inspiring ancient forests. Three activists locked themselves to a cargo container to block the logging of a section of ancient forest.

To me, the coolest part was watching the speed at which we were able to spread information- you can read about the action via it's weblog and see footage on the same page. The response to this has been great as well- Woods, Ant and Kirby seem to have developed a fan club!
