Democratic propaganda
Enlightening article by Brian Eno on how western propaganda has been disguised as a democratic process. I wonder how come many are still blind and keep believing the lies told us by our countries.
Best quote is by someone in the article who says that during the russian Breznev era there was also propaganda but the difference was that "they knew it was propaganda". Now, instead, we still believe in fairy tales.

I just wanted to make a quick comment about Brian Eno's piece from Aug.17, 2003 about democratic propoganda.
Eno speaks of the so-called, "new American approach to social control" but there's nothing new about it. If you're interested, check out Alex Carey's book entitled, 'Taking the Risk Out of Democracy'. American corporate organizations have been using propaganda ever since the first labour movements of the early 1900's. It's a fascinating book.
