Kick Aas
My favourite from the web this week, which I spotted on Monday. If only for the great campaign name - Kick Aas (Kick All Agricultural Subsidies). I'm interested to see what ideas come from the blog as it seems so far to be missing the real big stick to make the campaign a successful one. Has been popular on other bogs this week and lots of interesting comments as well.

I have to say, as an activist who has been engaged in globalization issues both in the first world and third world that we in the left should not embrace Kick-AAS's campaign. It's not a progressive project but will further enable multinationals and repressive forces within the third world to exert more power over poor farmers and drive more people in to urban slums.
