Post-Easter quickies

Start with a visit at the CIA website, where they might have some interesting info about your country. This was taken from a (not completely accurate, methinks) article on WebWord.
Also, from the same source, I finally found out why there's always a fly on Dutch public urinals. I always suspected it, but with whome you'd take such conversation?
On a more serious note, a must-read is the speech given by Tim Robbins to the U.S. National Press Club. A very good analysis of the "state of the nation", with clear warnings about intolerance and fake "pro-democracy" attitudes.
This all happens while people with a lot of spare time and a strong passion for LEGOs give tribute to Escher's genius.

Thanks for clarifying John, happy to see webword here :-) If you need more info re:Italy, just let me know, I might even send you a slice of pecorino cheese.

I never tried pecorino cheese. I'm just getting familiar with blocks of real parmesan cheese (grated and put on almost anything). All my life I was assaulted with KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese. Now that I know the difference, I can never go back!

Kraft?? AAAAHHHHHHHH... you want to kill me? You cannot even mention that here! and to an Italian??? Vade retro Satana!
Enjoy your real parmigiano, John, and, if you manage, try to buy some real pecorino, it's similar to parmigiano but stronger since it's from sheep's milk. Once you are at it, slice a pear and eat, together, the combo pear/pecorino (you can try it also with parmigiano but it works best with pecorino).
Interested in launching a weblog about italian delicatessen? :-)
