Tension has been building all day, well for me at least, because tonight is one of the footie games of the season with Real Madrid v Manchester United. As my sorta home team, Swansea, is bottom of division three right now I have to turn to my second team for the chance of glory.

Time to leave the office early and get everything done before the match - like dinner and check the beer situation. Hoping for a game to match the build up and a 1-1 draw to take back to Old Trafford and avenge the 3-2 defeat of a few years back. Normally I'd be keen to see Zidane, Figo, Carlos, Raul and Ronaldo in full flow but here's hoping for an off night. Fingers crossed....

Oh and here in Holland there's the small matter of Ajax v AC Milan. Come on Ajax!
