War

When Ivan Karamazov
is reciting his wracking disquisition
about the evils perpetrated
on children, opining whether
human salvation would be worth
a single child's suffering,
you know he's close to breaking
down, sobbing in shame
and remorse, and I wonder
if he'd imagined our whole planet,
the children with it,
wagered in a mad gamble
of world against wealth,
what would he have done?
--C.K. Williams, "Night"
For a start, he wouldn't buy Exxon, wouldn't buy Esso.

I was incensed getting ready for work this morning to hear the comments of that fat liberal michial what ever his name is. My uncle Howard and many other stopped a mad dictator(giving there lives so we can be free) I"m glad this jerk has the right to say his peice, but it does get close to treason when we have been attacked and clearly iraq was involved.Too many people forget the cost of freedom and he is the one who should be ashamed!anyway I started singing the old song let's remember pearl harbor with 911 sustituted for "pearl harbor. it applies rather nicely I think and helped me channel my anger contructively. here's how it looks. sung to "lets remember pearl harbour".Let's remember 911 as we go to meet the foe.Lets remember 911 as we did the Alamo. We will always remember how they died for liberty.Lets remeber 911 and go on to Victory and repeat a lot of times to let unpatriotic slobs like him know how we feel.If he has no appreciation for our armed forces and people get the hell out of here!I think Bush should draft his fat ass and let him lead a one man charge against the Republican Guard. After all ,he is a liberal demo so attacking Republicans should be natural to him.He might even win a medal! (A little tongue in cheek there, but that pissed me off!)Randy Hansen
