Goodbye Trina
We've been way too busy to realize that time was passing and yesterday, after a week of celebrations, dodgy caipirinhas, water balloons and various amenities, a sad moment came.... it was the last day in the team for our friend (and great chief web editor) Trina, leaving not only an empty desk but an energy "wormhole" behind.
It's always difficult to see other Greenpeace folks parting, mainly because this cannot really be defined a typical work environment, where else you see people listening to very loud horrific music while others are talking to BBC journos on the phone and someone else is preparing a 60 ft long banner under everybody's feet?
However, Trina has still an account on this weblog so she'll be able to post reports from her journeys (without sparing details!). And, in any case, there's always space for more experiences in the organisation so I'll wait until she tells us about the next one..
Goodbye Trina!

Indeed Gillo expressed the team feeling perfectly.
The sad moment came all too quickly within a week of the whirlwind launch. It was a moment the whole team was hoping would not happen, but unfortunately it finally came.
All I can add is I hope you have half as good a time working back in OZ as you did here in Amsterdam.
Travel well,
Tom.
